Reaction: ##STR128## Into a 50 ml reaction flask equipped with stirrer, thermometer, reflux condenser and heating mantle are placed 11.4 grams cycloheptanol; 22 grams of 2-mercaptopropionic acid and 0.5 grams of paratoluene sulfonic acid. The reaction mass is heated to reflux and refluxed for a period of 10 hours. At the end of the 10 hour period, the reaction mass is distilled on a micro distillation apparatus to yield the compound having the structure: ##STR129##
