A stirred mixture of the product from step (i) (5.07 g) and 4-methoxybenzylamine (12 ml) was heated at 100° C. for 24 h. The excess 4-methoxybenzylamine was distilled off under reduced pressure. The remaining residue was purified by recrystallisation from ethyl acetate to give the subtitle product as a pale yellow powder.
