6-(1-Methyl-4-phenyl-1H-imidazol-5-yl)thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine-4-amine (Example 8) (29 mg), DMA (2 mL), DIPEA (0.05 mL) and acetic anhydride (0.01 mL) were heated at 82° C. for 1 day. The reaction mixture was cooled to ambient temperature, water (2 mL) added and then preparative RPHPLC (eluting with a gradient of MeCN and water containing 0.1% TFA) afforded the title compound as a colourless solid (25 mg, 76%);
