Toluene (10 mL) was added to di-tert-butyl diazene-1,2-dicarboxylate (173 mg) and triphenylphosphine (229 mg) and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 10 min. Then, 5-hydroxy-1-methyl-3-(1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)pyridazin-4(1H)-one (154 mg), 3-(1-methyl-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)propan-1-ol (143 mg) were further added and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 22 hr. The crystals precipitated from the reaction mixture were collected by filtration, washed successively with toluene, methanol and diisopropyl ether, and dried to give the title compound (134 mg).
