Procedure

A mixture of 15 mg (31 μmol) [1-(3-chloro-phenyl)-1H-[1,2,4]-triazol-3-yl]-[4-(6-cyclopent-1-enyl-pyridine-2-carbonyl]-2,2-dimethyl-piperazin-1-yl]-methanone and 4 mg palladium on carbon in 5.0 mL EtOAc was hydrogenated at RT for 3.5 h. The catalyst was removed by filtration and the solvent was evaporated in vacuo. The resulting residue was purified by HPLC.
