Procedure
A solution of N-(6-fluoropyridin-3-yl)-5-(3-(methylsulfonyl)phenyl)-[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyridin-2-amine (250 mg, 0.65 mmol) in 1-methylpiperazine (500 mg, 5 mmol) was heated at 140° C. After 16 h, the reaction mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate (100 mL). The resulting solution was washed with water, and the collected organic was concentrated. Purification by preparative thin layer chromatography afforded the desired product (101 mg). LCMS (ESI) m/z: 464.2. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3), δ: 8.69 (s, 1H), 8.30 (s, 1H), 8.16-8.14 (d, J=8 Hz, 1H), 8.03-8.01 (d, J=8 Hz, 1H), 7.81-7.67 (m, 2H), 7.50-7.45 (m, 2H), 6.97 (s, 1H), 6.68-6.64 (m 2H), 3.42-3.34 (m, 4H), 3.10 (s, 3H), 2.48-2.45 (m, 4H), 2.47 (s, 3H).
