The reaction and aftertreatment were conducted in the same manner as in Example 86a by using tert-butyl 1,3-thiazol-4-ylcarbamate (Synthesis, 2010, 3152-3162; 1.00 g, 4.99 mmol), lithium bis(trimethylsilyl)amide (1.0 M solution in THF; 5.99 mL, 5.99 mmol), 2,4,6-trifluorobenzenesulfonyl chloride (1.38 g, 5.99 mmol) and THF (15 mL), to yield the title compound (1.53 g, 78%) as a pale yellow solid.
