4-{2-[3-(1-Tert-butoxycarbonylmethyl-piperidin-4-yl)-1-(3,4-dichloro-benzyl)-1H-indazol-6-yl]-(E)-vinyl}-piperidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (110 mg; 0.161 mmol) was stirred at 23° in trifluoroacetic acid (4 ml) under nitrogen for 5 h. The solvent was evaporated in vacuo and the residue triturated with dry ether to give the title compound as a white solid (90 mg; 74%).
