Using 0.76 g (3.0 mmol) of 5-(4-chlorobutylthio)-2-methylimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine, 0.35 g (3.0 mmol) of thiazolidine-2,4-dione and 0.45 ml (3.0 mmol) of 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]-7-undecene, the same procedure as in Reference Example 2 was followed, to yield 0.78 g (77.7%, light yellow oily substance) of the desired product.
