Procedure
4.2 g of carbon disulfide was added dropwise to a solution of 12.8 g of 10-(3-aminopropyl)phenothiazine and 7.7 ml of triethylamine in 100 ml of tetrahydrofuran. After stirring the solution at room temperature for 2 hours, a solution of 11.3 g of dicyclohexylcarbodiimide in 20 ml of tetrahydrofuran was added dropwise thereto, and the reaction was conducted at room temperature for 5 hours. After removing solvents in vacuo, 50 ml of ethyl acetate was added to the residue, and the crystals precipitated were collected by filtration, and the filtrate was concentrated to obtain 18.6 g of the desired compound (oily).
