To a solution of N3-(3,4-difluorobenzyl)-N2-(2-hydroxyethyl)-6-isopropoxy-1-(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)-1H-indole-2,3-dicarboxamide (Compound 103, 36 mg, 0.069 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (3 ml) at 0° C was added Et3N (58 μl, 0.41 mmol) and methanesulfonyl chloride (11 μl, 0.14 mmol). The reaction was stirred at room temperature for 0.5 h, diluted with EtOAc, washed with H2O and brine, dried over Na2SO4, and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by chromatography on silica gel (0→100% EtOAc-hexanes) to yield the title compound as a yellow film.
