Procedure
A solution of lithium hydroxide monohydrate (111 mg, 3.09 mmol) in water (5 mL) was added dropwise to a suspension of 6-[5-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-3-methyl-3H-[1,2,3]triazol-4-ylmethoxy]-pyridazine-3-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (471 mg, 1.32 mmol) in THF (5 mL). The reaction mixture was then stirred at room temperature for 16 h. The reaction mixture was then evaporated and the residue dissolved in water, acidified with HCl (1N), and the resulting precipitate filtered off to afford the title product (430 mg, 99%) as a white solid after trituration with ethyl acetate. MS: m/e=328.3 [M−H]−.
