A solution of lithium hydroxide monohydrate (163 mg, 3.88 mmol) in water (7 mL) was added dropwise to a suspension of 6-[3-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-5-methyl-3H-[1,2,3]triazol-4-ylmethoxy]-pyridazine-3-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (694 mg, 1.94 mmol) in THF (7 mL). The reaction mixture was then stirred at room temperature for 30 min and was then evaporated and the residue dissolved in water, acidified with HCl (1N), and the resulting precipitate filtered off to afford the title product (635 mg, 99%) as a white solid. MS: m/e=328.3 [M−H]−.
