2-bromo-N-(4′-chloro-[1,1′-biphenyl]-4-yl)-4-methylbenzamide (50 mg, 0.13 mmol), ethyl 3-(5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)picolinamido)propanoate (68 g, 0.16 mmol), Pd(dppf)Cl2 (9 mg, 0.01 mmol), and 2M aqueous K2CO3 (0.13 mL g, 0.25 mmol) were dissolved in 1,4-dioxane (2 mL) and the resulting mixture was heated to 85° C. After 16 h the resulting mixture was cooled to room temperature and purified directly via column chromatography to yield the title compound.
