A solution of ethyl 3-(5-(2-formyl-3-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-5-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)picolinamido)propanoate (150.1 mg, 0.35 mmol) in THF (5 mL) and MeOH (25 mL) was hydrogenated substituting H-Cube (10 Bar H2) at 40° C. at a flow rate of 1 mL/min. The resulting solution was concentrated to yield the title compound.
