Benzothiazol-2-ylamine (30. mg, 0.20 mmol) and 1-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-cyclopropanecarboxylic acid (38 mg, 0.20 mmol) were dissolved in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF, 1 mL) containing triethylamine (84 μL, 0.60 mmol). O-(7-Azabenzotriazol-1-yl)-N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyluronium hexafluorophosphate (HATU, 80 mg, 0.21 mmol) was added and the solution was allowed to stir at room temperature for 16 hours. The crude product was purified by reverse-phase preparative liquid chromatography to yield the pure product (17 mg, 0.052 mmol, 26%). ESI-MS m/z calc. 324.1. found 325.0 (M+1)+. Retention time of 3.48 minutes.
