2-(6-Chloro-benzothiazol-2-ylamino)-3-methyl-3H-benzoimidazole-5-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (1.2 g) was prepared by following General Procedure D starting from 6-chloro-benzothiazol-2-ylamine (1.2 g), 4-amino-3-methylamino-benzoic acid ethyl ester (1.2 g), thioCDI (1 g) and EDC (1.1 g) in DMF (20 mL).
