7.6 g of lithium aluminium hydride are added in portions to a solution of 28.7 g of the product obtained in Step C in 1.5 litres of tetrahydrofuran heated at 60°C. After 18 hours at reflux, the reaction mixture is hydrolysed by the addition of 5.24 ml of water, 4.2 ml of 20% sodium hydroxide solution and then 19.2 ml of water. After filtration, drying and concentration under reduced pressure, the expected product is isolated. The hydrochloride thereof recrystallises from methanol.
