Procedure

2-Phenyl-thiomorpholine (1 mole equivalent), 4-Chloro-6,7-dimethoxy-quinazoline (1 mole equivalent) and potassium carbonate (1 mole equivalent) were added to a 1:1 mixture of toluene and 2-propanol, corresponding to a final concentration of about 0.5 molar. The reaction mixture was heated in a microwave oven at 180° C. for 15 minutes, and filtrated. The solvent was removed under vacuum and the resultant solid was subjected to preparative LC-MS-purification. Fractions containing the product were collected, pooled and evaporated in vacuo to give the product.
