This compound was prepared according to the procedure of Example 1. A mixture of 3.2 g (0.01 mole) of α,α-bis-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4-piperidinemethanol, 1.6 g (0.01 mole) of 5-(2-chloroethyl)-3-methyl-2-oxazolidinone, 3.7 g (0.035 mole) of anhydrous sodium carbonate and 0.4 g of potassium iodide in 100 ml of 1-butanol gave 3.9 g (87%) of off-white solid, m.p. 145°-147° C. (2-propanol).
