Procedure

A solution of dimethylamine in tetrahydrofuran (2.0M; 4 ml) was added to a solution of 4-anilino-5-bromo-2-[4-(3-chloropropionamido)anilino]pyrimidine (Method 37; 60 mg, 0.135 mmol) in DMF (0.2 ml). The solution was heated at 80° C. for 1 hour, diluted with DCM (4 ml) and loaded onto a Varian Mega Bond Elut column. Elution with 0-10% 2.0M methanolic ammonia solution in DCM gave the product (5.4 mg, 9%). MS (MH+): 455, 457; HPLC (RT): 2.70.
