To a solution of Compound 18 (280 mg) in AcOEt (6 ml) was added conc. HCl (1 ml). The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 45 minutes. The mixture was extracted with CH2Cl2. The combined extracts were dried (Na2SO4), and concentrated in vacuo to give Compound 19 as a yellow oil.
