To a solution of triethylsilane (720 mg, 6.21 mmol) and trimethylsilyl trifluoromethanesulfonate (TMSOTf) in methylene chloride (250 ml) was added dropwise a solution of the compound (2.37 g, 5.17 mmol) obtained in Step 3 in methylene chloride (50 ml) and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 30 minutes. The reaction mixture was washed with water, dried, and then the solvent was distilled off. The residue was purified by a silica gel column chromatography (hexane:ethyl acetate=4:1) to yield the title compound (1.90 g, 4.74 mmol, yield 92%).
