To a stirred solution of compound 6B (230 mg, 1 mmol) in EtOAc (5 mL) was added SnCl2 2H2O (780 mg, 3.5 mmol). The resulting mixture was stirred at rt for 20 h, then saturated aqueous K2CO3 was added. After stirring for 30 min, the reaction was treated with solid K2CO3 (550 mg). The resulting suspension was stirred at rt for another 2 h, and then filtered. The filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure to give a crude product, which was chromatographed (silica gel) eluting with 20% to 60% EtOAc/hexane to afford the title compound (160 mg) as a light yellow oil.
