Procedure
75 parts of styrene, 25 parts of acrylonitrile, and 120 parts of deionized water were mixed. To the mixture, 0.2 parts of azobisisobutylonitrile (AIBN) 0.4 parts of tricalciumphosphate and 0.2 parts of mercaptan-containing chain transfer agent were added. The resultant solution was heated to 80° C. for 90 minutes and kept for 180 minutes. The resultant was washed, dehydrated and dried. Styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer (SAN) was obtained.
