Procedure

To a solution of (S)-(3,5-Bis-trifluoromethyl-benzyl)-(2-methyl-2H-tetrazol-5-yl)-(5-pyridin-4-ylmethyl-3,5,6,7,8,9-hexahydro-1H-2-oxa-5-aza-cyclohepta[f]inden-9-yl)-amine (Example 103) in diethyl ethyl ether, add HCl as a 1.0 M solution in diethyl ether. Remove solvent under a slow stream of nitrogen followed by vacuum to obtain the title compound as an off white solid. MS (ES+): 580 (M+H).
