464.5 g (1.95 mol) of 4-iodo-1,1,1-trifluorobutane, 390.4 g (1.95 mol) of 4-(benzyloxy)phenol and 539.5 g (3.90 mol) of potassium carbonate are dissolved in 3 L of NMP.
