In a similar fashion using route 1 general procedure 4, N-(6-methoxyquinolin-8-yl)-2-nitrobenzenesulfonamide (Intermediate 152) (460 mg, 1.17 mmol), tin (II) chloride (886 mg, 4.68 mmol) and 6 N HCl (3 drops) gave the title compound (260 mg, 68%). The structure was confirmed by 1H NMR.
