In a similar fashion using route 1 general procedure 4, 5-fluoro-2-nitro-N-quinolin-8-yl-benzenesulfonamide (Intermediate 267) (0.60 g, 1.72 mmol), SnCl2 (1.31 g, 6.91 mmol), 6N HCl (6 drops) and EtOH (7 ml) gave the title compound (610 mg) which was used in the next step without further purification.
