Procedure

To the title compound of step A (813 mg) in DCM (6 mL) was added TFA (2 mL). After 1 h, the reaction was diluted with saturated Na2CO3 (aq) and extracted with DCM. The organic layers were dried (MgSO4) and concentrated to give the title compound (452 mg) that was used without further purification.
