A solution of 8-(pyrazine-2-carboxamido)-2-(3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)quinolin-4-yl acetate 41 (33 mg, 0.073 mmol) in THF (2 mL) and 1N NaOH (0.5 mL) was heated at 60° C. for 48 h. The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature and 1N HCl (5 mL) was added. The resulting precipitate was collected by filtration, rinsed with 3 mL H2O, and dried under vacuum to give Compound 409 (21 mg, 70% yield). MS (ESI) calc. for C21H13F3N4O2: 410.10. found: 411 [M+H].
