To a mixture of N-(2-fluoro-4-hydroxyphenyl)-1,5-dimethyl-3-oxo-2-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide (300 mg, 0.879 mmol) and t-BuOK (118 mg, 1.05 mmol) was added DMF (2.5 mL). The resulted mixture was stirred at rt for 30 minutes, then 4-chloropicolinamide (165 mg, 1.05 mmol) was added. The mixture was heated at 120° C. for 5 hours, then cooled to rt, and H2O (50 mL) and EtOAc (2 mL) was added. The resulted mixture was stirred at rt overnight. Filtered and the precipitation was washed with water (5 mL) to give the title compound as a dark brown solid (370 mg, 91.2%).
