tert-butyl 3-(benzylamino)-3-(2-fluorobenzyl)cyclohexylcarbamate was stirred in a solution of HCl in dioxane (4 M) at room temperature for 5 hours. The product, HCl salt of N1-benzyl-1-(2-fluorobenzyl)cyclohexane-1,3-diamine, was obtained after evaporation of solvent.
