Procedure

tert-Butyl N′-[5-chloro-2-(tetrahydropyran-4-yl)-pentanoyl]-hydrazinecarboxylate (250 mg) was dissolved in a solution of 4 N hydrogen chloride in dioxane (2 ml), and the reaction solution was stirred at room temperature for 2.5 hours. The reaction solution was concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain 215 mg of the title compound. The property value of the compound is as follows.
