{2-Chloro-4-[3-(4-chloro-phenylethynyl)-5-hydroxy-phenylsulfanyl]-phenoxy}-acetic acid ethyl ester (274 mg; 0.58 mmol) was dissolved in THF (15 mL) in a dried reaction flask under an atmosphere of nitrogen. (4-Morpholin-4-ylmethyl-phenyl)-methanol (100 mg; 0.48 mmol) and tributylphosphine (0.21 mL; 0.87 mmol) was added followed by 1,1′-(Azodicarbonyl)dipiperidine (0.22 g; 0.87 mmol) dissolved in THF (10 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 5 h, filtered and evaporated in vacuo. The crude product was purified by prep. HPLC (method A). Yield: 250 mg. HPLC-MS: m/z: 663.0 (M+H); Rt: 2.47 min.
