(+)-trans-2-(2-Chlorophenyl)-8-(2-hydroxymethyl-1-methyl-pyrrolidin-3-yl)-5,7-dimethoxy-chromen-4-one (0.2 g, 0.48 mmol) was suspended in methanol (2 mL) and ethereal HCl (5 mL) was added. The suspension was stirred to get a clear solution. The solution was concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain the title compound.
