(Cyclohexylmethyl)amine in NMP (135 μl, 0.3M, 0.04 mmol) was added to a mixture of 6-methyl-2-oxo-5-phenyl-1-[3-(trifluoromethyl)-phenyl]-1,2-dihydro-pyridine-3-carboxylic acid (12 mg, 0.03 mmol), HATU (15 mg, 0.04 mmol), HOAT (7 mg, 0.04 mmol) and DIEA (13 mg, 0.1 mmol) in NMP (160 μl). The reaction mixture was stirred for 17 h at room temperature. The solvent was removed in vacuo, and the residue was dissolved in acetonitrile/water, 50/50, to a total volume of 1.6 ml, and purified using preparative HPLC to give the title compound (7 mg, 50%).
