(2′-Ethylaminomethyl-6-methoxy-4′-trifluoromethyl-biphenyl-3-yl)-acetic acid methyl ester (0.130 g, 0.34 mmol), N-ethyl-N-benzylcarbamoyl chloride (0.081 g, 0.41 mmol), 4-dimethylaminopyridine (0.010 g, 0.08 mmol), and triethylamine (0.12 mL, 0.85 mmol) were combined in CH2Cl2 (5 mL) and stirred at reflux overnight. The mixture was purified by silica gel chromatography (0-100% EtOAc in hexanes) to give the title compound.
