To a solution of the compound XVII (1.83 g, 6 mmol) in THF (10 mL) was added hydrazine monohydrate (0.84 mg, 17 mmol) and the mixture was stirred at room temperature over night. The mixture was concentrated to a volume of about 3 mL and diluted with ethyl acetate (50 mL) and water (10 mL). The organic phase was separated, rinsed with brine, dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, filtered and the solvent removed in vacuo to afford the titled compound XXII (1.5 g, 83% yield, 92% purity): ESI/MS 319 (M+H), 317(M−H); 1H NMR (DMSO-d6): δ 10.40 (bs, 1H), 9.24 (bs, 1H), 8.08 (m, 1H), 7.42 (m, 2H), 4.43 (m, 2H)
