100 mg (265 μmol) of 2-[4-(5-chloro-2-cyanophenyl)-5-methoxy-2-oxopyridin-1(2H)-yl]-4-methoxybutanoic acid (racemate), 54.2 mg (265 μmol, 1.0 eq.) of ethyl 6-amino-1H-indole-2-carboxylate, 37.7 mg (265 μmol) of Oxima and 41.4 μl (265 μmol) of DIC in 5.5 ml of dimethylformamide were reacted according to General Method 5B. The crude product was purified by preparative HPLC (column: Chromatorex 125 mm×30 mm, 10 μm, mobile phase: water/0.1% formic acid and acetonitrile/0.1% formic acid, gradient 10% acetonitrile to 90% acetonitrile). Yield: 85 mg (54% of theory)
