To a solution of compound 747-B (1.8 g, 0.74 mmol) in DMF (20 mL) was added DMAP (0.782 g; 0.74 mmol) and the reaction mixture was heated at 120° C. for 18 h. The reaction mixture was cooled, diluted with H2O, and the precipitate filtered and dried under vacuo to afford 1.2 g of compound 747-C as a light brown solid. 1H-NMR (CDCl3) δ 3.18 (dd, 2H), 3.63 (dd, 2H), 5.16 (q, 1H), 7.14-7.24 (m, 4H), 7.68-7.77 (m, 2H), 7.79-7.90 (m, 2H); MS: m/z 264.1 (MH+).
