Procedure

Ester 21-5 (200 mg, 0.377 mmol) was dissolved in 2 mL CH2Cl2, and 2 ml TFA was added. After 4 h at RT the mixture was concentrated, azeotroped with toluene, and purified by flash chromatography (silica, 28:10:1:1 EtOAc/EtOH/NH4OH/H2O) providing 21-6 as a white solid.
