To a solution of methyl 4-(3-amino-6-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-yl)pyrazin-2-yl)-2-fluorobenzoate (104 mg, 0.314 mmol) in THF (698 μL) and MeOH (349 μL) was added LiOH (1 M solution) (565 μL, 0.565 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred for 1 h at room temperature. The reaction mixture was quenched with 1N HCl solution up to pH 5, and worked up with EtOAc. The organic layer was washed with water and brine, dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, filtered off, and concentrated in vacuo. The crude product was used for the next step. LCMS (m/z): 318.3 (MH+), 0.5 min.
