Procedure

To a solution of trifluoroacetic acid (2.5 mL) and trifluoroacetic anhydride (2.5 mL) at 0° C. was added portion wise the product of Example 205 (0.5 g, 1.17 mmol). The resulting red solution was stirred at 0° C. for 30 minutes, cooled to −20° C. and treated portion wise with potassium nitrate (0.13 g, 1.3 mmol). The mixture was stirred at −20° C. for 1 hour, poured onto ice and the resulting tan solid was collected by filtration, washed with water and dried to constant mass to give the title compound (0.628 g, 94% yield). MS (ESI−) m/z 567 (M−H)−. The sodium salt of the title compound was prepared according to the procedure of Example 1D. 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 0.96 (d, J=6.62 Hz, 6 H) 1.49 (m, 2 H) 1.64 (m, 1 H) 4.30 (m, 2 H) 7.16 (dd, J=7.72, 4.78 Hz, 1 H) 7.67 (m, 2 H) 8.38 (dd, J=7.54, 2.02 Hz, 1 H) 8.57 (dd, J=4.41, 1.84 Hz, 1 H) 11.61 (s, 1 H) 16.67 (s, 1 H).
