The product of Example 241b (1.50 g, 4.34 mmol) was dissolved in DMF to which K2CO3 (1.20 g, 8.69 mmol), and 4-mercapto-phenol (548 mg, 4.34 mmol) were added. The reaction mixture was then heated to 80° C. for 2 hrs. At this point the reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature and diluted with water which was then extracted with ethyl acetate to isolate the desired compound (1.54 g, 78%).
