Tetrabutylammonium fluoride (0.6 mL of a 1.0 M solution in THF, 0.6 mmol) was added to a solution of the silylether 10 (159 mg, 0.29 mmol) in THF (3.0 mL) at 23° C. The reaction was stirred for 16 h, diluted with EtOAc and washed with water. The organic portion was washed with brine, dried (MgSO4), filtered and concentrated in vacuo. FCC (silica gel, 2:1 hex/EtOAc) afforded 118.6 mg (94%) of the alcohol 11 as a light yellow, viscous oil.
