A mixture of ((2S,3R)-2-(aminomethyl)-3-methylpiperidin-1-yl)(5-(4-fluorophenyl)-2-methylthiazol-4-yl)methanone (50 mg, 145 μmol), 2,5-dichloropyrimidine (43 mg, 287 μmol), and DIPEA (75 mg, 431 mol) in isopropanol was stirred at 120° C. for 1 h in a microwave reactor. The crude reaction mixture was purified by reverse-phase preparative HPLC to afford the title compound. MS (ESI) 460 (M+H). 1H NMR (500 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.25-6.85 (m, 7H), 5.55-2.65 (m, 8H), 1.95-0.85 (m, 8H).
