A glass microwave reaction vessel was charged with 5-(3-(6-fluoropyridin-2-yl)-1-tosyl-1H-indol-5-yl)-N-(4-methoxybenzyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-amine (300 mg, 0.512 mmol) and 1-methylpiperazin-2-one (117 mg, 1.024 mmol) in NMP (5 mL) followed by Et3N (214 μL, 1.537 mmol). The reaction was stirred and heated in an oil bath at 150° C. for 60 h, and the mixture was diluted with DCM and washed with H2O, brine, dried, filtered and concentrated to give the crude product. MS (ESI, pos. ion) m/z: 680 (M+1).
