xHCl. To the title compound of step A (149 mg, 0.0404 mmol) in EtOAc (1.5 mL) was added 4M HCl in dioxane (5 mL). After 3.25 h, the reaction was concentrated to give the title compound of step B (128 mg) which was used without further purification. MS (ESI) mass calcd. for C11H13BrN2O, 268.0. m/z found 269.0 [M+H]+.
