Procedure
A solution of Example 7C (0/37 g, 0.59 mmol) in THF (4 mL) was treated with 4N HCl (1 mL), stirred at 60° C. for 3 hrs and cooled to room temperature. The solvents were evaporated, and the crude residue was partitioned between ethyl acetate and 10% sodium bicarbonate. The organic layer was separated and washed with brine, dried over sodium sulfate, filtered and the solvents were evaporated to give 0.28 g (89%) of the title compound.
